52 Week Selfie Challenge : Pittsburgh PA Photographer
Happy New Year! 2018 is already here! 2018 is going to be a great year for us and I’m super excited for all the changes that will be released throughout the year for Marie Sales Photography!
After hearing about a challenge like this from the extremely talented photographer, Sue Bryce, I wanted to kick off the year with a project that is very dear to my heart. Encouraging Self Love. So many times, we spend so much time taking care of others, that we sometimes forget to love ourselves. Whether you’re a busy momma running all the kiddos around and taking care of home, you’re a student with a full schedule and social schedule, or maybe you’re a single lady building up her career and killin’ it. We all sometimes fall short on reminding ourselves what makes us beautiful. I know I get so caught up in life that I forget to remember why I love me!
What is Self Love?

By definition, that’s what it is. But it’s more! It’s looking in the mirror and smiling at the woman you see back. It’s taking a few minutes of everyday and loving yourself, whether it’s through kind words about yourself, pampering yourself, whatever. It’s by confidence.
So, for every week this year, I am running a Facebook Group challenge called 52 Weeks of Selfies. The name is pretty obvious, that we will be taking one selfie, every single week. But we will be doing more!
Each and every week, I will have a theme or maybe even a mission or task and asking everyone in the group to take a selfie! They have the whole week to do it. On top of that, I will be asking every week, for the ladies to share 3 things they are loving about themselves.
This is a women’s only, positive-only group and it is private.
I would love for any woman, who wants to remember how amazing and beautiful they are, to join us in challenging ourselves!
