Photographers Need Photos Too – Pittsburgh Branding Portraits
Pittsburgh Branding Portraits
“Photographers need photos too.”
That was how this session with J.E. started. He made a statement which I can honestly say, rings true. Many of us photographers spend so much time behind the camera, that we rarely go on the other side of the camera for photos! When he said this, I immediately reached out and offered a branding portrait session, because I totally understand that we need photos too!
Anyone who knows Pittsburgh, knows that January around here is typically freezing or rainy or snowing or some other not so fun weather. But, it’s also a quiet time for many photographers so this was a perfect time for two photographers to work together and get some portraits done! We have been following each other on Instagram for awhile now and attended some of the same meetups, but I don’t think we ever officially met until the night of his shoot! So it was great to get to meet another local photographer!
We met in downtown Pittsburgh, which is always the PERFECT backdrop for any type of photo session. He mentioned that he wanted more urban, so of course, we were in the right spot. Between the backdrop of the buildings, the small alleyways, and well, just the city itself, there were plenty of options.
